The starting point of Prožurska Luka – Saplunara route is Prožurska Luka village. From the village ride along the coast to the east course. The carriageway leads to Okuklje village. From Okuklje proceed on the steep paved road that leads to Maranovići village. On the left side of the paved road there are Sv Nikola chapel and Galičnjak cave. At the crossroad in Maranovići village keep left and proceed on the highway to Saplunara. After the long ascent on the left side there are Sv Marija and Sv Ilija chapels. Few meters before  Sv Marija chapel there is a junction. From the junction the rocky carriageway leads to Planjak peak.  The paved road proceeds near Korita village and the descent section leads to Saplunara village. On the way to Saplunara there is the labeled junction and the short carriageway section leads to the ruins of  Sv Pavle chapel. Few hundred meters before Saplunara there are two junctions and two carrigeways lead to Maslinova bay and Podselo bay. In Saplunara there are two sand beaches. For ride back use the same trail from Saplunara to Maranovići village. In Maranovići keep straight and ride back to Prožurska Luka on the highway that leads near Prožura village. Notes & references:

The best time for ride: winter, spring or fall. During summer time is very hot. GPS unit with uploaded route is a must. With The Map of The Island of Mljet the routes can be easy combined.
