The starting point of the mountain bike route is the crossroad in the suburb of Zagreb named Podsused. The first part of the trail is exactly the same as MTB trail Podsused – Ponikve until you reach the spring of water named Jambrešakovo Vrelo. From the spring ride back to the labeled hiking trail for Grafičar Hut and Risnjak Hut. Follow the labeled singletrack for Grafičar Hut. After about 9km, on the Bistra saddle there is a crossroad with the unpaved road. Turn right on unpaved road and on the next crossroad turn left for Grafičar Hut. The steep ascent on the singletrack leads to the hut. From the hut find the track and the carriageway to the north east course. This section isn’t labeled with the hiking labels. The carriageway leads to the ridge from the north side. On the crossroad with an unpaved road turn sharp right and proceed until you reach the crossroad with the paved road. Turn left on the labeled hiking trail. The trail proceeds near the Tomislav hotel and ends with the parking place and paved road to the peak of Medvednica named Sljeme. Ride to the peak where is the resting place. Ride back about 200 meters and on the crossroad turn left on the steep paved road to the cableway station. From the station proceed to the north east course on the labeled hiking trail for Hunjka Hut. At the crossroad near the hut turn right on unpaved road and than after few meters turn left on hiking trail for Gorščica & Lipa huts. Proceed to Gorščica Hut. From the hut ride on the unpaved road to the north east course. Follow the labels for Lipa Hut. When you reach the junction for Laz saddle and Lipa Hut turn left for the Laz saddle. Some sections to Laz saddle are muddy singletracks. There is a restaurant and crossroad on the Laz Saddle. Proceed to Marija Bistrica for about 1 km and on this crossroad turn right on paved road for Vrh village. The crossroad is not labeled. Proceed 1,8 km on paved road and on this crossroad turn right on paved road. After about 200 meters just before the house turn left on the carrigeway to the east course. After about 300 meters there is a crossroad. Turn left on the labeled hiking trail for Zelina. Follow the labels until you reach the crossroad with paved road. Turn left on the paved road and proceed for about 400m to the next junction. Turn right on the labeled hiking trail. Do not turn sharp right on the dirt road. The labeled trail follows to Kladeščica village. About 600 meters before the village there is a crossroad with the unpaved road. Turn left and proceed to Kladeščica. On the crossroad in the village there is the crucifix. Turn right and follow the hiking labels for Zelina. The unpaved road gradually turns into dirt road. After about 1km the labeled trail turns into unpaved road. There is no hiking labels any more. Proceed on the road for about 400 meters when you will reach the saddle. Just few meters before the beginning of the ascent turn left to the north east course on the dirt road through the forest. The forest’s dirt road continues for about 1,6 km to the crossroad with the unpaved road for Donje Orešje village. Turn right on unpaved road and after few hundred meters there is the quarry. Pass the quarry. The unpaved road turns into paved road. Proceed to the village. In Donje Orešje village turn right on the paved road to ride back to Zagreb.
