The starting point of the route is near the birth house and museum of Ivo Andrić in Travnik town. From the center of Travnik proceed on the highway to Jajce direction. At the end of Travnik town turn right on the paved road to Galica – Ovčarevo. The gradually ascent with many turns leads to Vlašić mountain. After few km there is the fountain on the right side of the paved road.  Keep straight to the plateau. There is the labeled  junction to Galica Hut. To visit Galica Hut turn left and proceed on the labeled carriageway. To proceed to Paljenik peak keep the ride on the paved road until this junction. Turn right at the junction and keep the ride on the dry and rocky carriageway. Keep right at the next junction and the carriageway leads to Devečani Hut. Near Devečani Hut there is the junction. Turn right to the fountain and the sightseeing point above Paklarske Stijene. Keep straight and proceed to Paljenik peak. At Paljenik peak there is radio relay station. From Paljenik ride back for about 2.1 km and then turn left and keep the ride on the carriageway partly overgrown in the grass. Keep the ride to the south east course.  Keep right at the next junction and descend to Velika Bukovica village. After about 800 meters turn right on the paved road and proceed for about 2.3km. There is the bus station and the junction just before the station. Turn right on the carriageway. Keep straight and the carriageway leads straight to Travnik Old Town.
