The Island of Rab is situated in North Adriatic sea in front of North Velebit mountain. Strong wind named Bura is well known in this area. Regarding the strong wind the vegetation exists in the south-west part of the island only. The main highway is placed from south to north and there are many short trails on the left and right side. The highest elevation point is Kamenjak peak at elevation of 409m over the see level.

The starting point of the mountain bike route is Mišnjak port located in the south east area of Rab. Follow the main highway to Barbat and in Barbat turn left in the direction to the coast. Along the coast there is a paved road in the direction to the Rab city. In Rab city you can take some time for viewing historical monuments. It’s a nice old Mediterranean city. From Rab city I choose the labeled trail to Kampor. At the end of Kampor valley there is the trail near the coast to the Gonar village. Then follows the paved road from Gonar to Supetarska Draga. In Supetarska Draga follow the paved road to Lopar. From Lopar village I used the trail starting from the Lopar’s sand beach. From the beach and along the coast there is a trail to Andreškići than to the north course there is the labeled trail to the coast. This section is mixture of singletracks and carriageways. The trail leads back to Lopar’s bay. On the half way riding back from Lopar to Supetarska Draga there is the crossroad with the labeled trail to the Rab’s ridge. Turn left on the rocky carriageway.  The steep ascent leads to the ridge. The trail passes through the pasture area and ends in Matkići village. From the village there is a trail to Mundanije village. In Mundanije there is the crossroad. Turn left on paved road to Kamenjak peak. First part of the road is gradually ascent and than follows very steep ascent. The final section is unpaved road to the radio relay station. From Kamenjak you can take a nice view on Velebit mountain and all island in the neighborhood of Rab island. For ride back, use the same trail to Mundanije and in the village on the main crossroad turn left on highway and proceed straight to the Mišnjak port.
