The starting point of  the route is in Polače village. From Polače proceed on the paved road along the coast to the east course. After about 2.30km turn left and descend to Tatinica bay. From Tatinica bay ride back to the crossroad and proceed on the paved road to the south east course. After about 730 meters turn right on the unpaved road that leads to Soline. The long gradually ascent leads to the ridge of The Island of Mljet and after that the long descent section leads to the coast of The Great Lake. At the coast of The Great Lake proceed on the paved road that leads to the west course along the coast of The Great Lake. Pass the office of National Park Mljet and than turn right. After about 500 meters turn left and proceed to Goveđari village. The ascent leads to the village. In Goveđari turn left and visit Sv Nikola chapel. Ride back to Goveđari and proceed along the village to the north and than to the west course. At the next crossroad turn right and proceed to Polače. There is the junction on the paved road. Turn left and proceed on the carriageway to the north east course. The trail ends after about 3.30km. Ride back and turn left on the paved road that leads along the coast of Rogač bay back to Polače. For more details check above interactive Map and below Gallery & Notes of the route.

 
Notes & references:

The best time for ride: winter, spring or fall. During summer time is very hot. The entrance fee is charged in The National Park Mljet. You can ride the route in opposite direction too. GPS unit with uploaded route is a must. With The Map of The Island of Mljet the routes can be easy combined.
