Osječenica Classic MTB route is situated in the west area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The peak of Osječenica mountain is named Velika Osječenica. The route is fast and easy and includes a short hiking section to the peak. Velika Osječnica peak is at elevation of 1.795 meters over the sea level. This is point to point trail and it can be combined with Klekovača route.

The starting point of MTB route is Bosanski Petrovac. Proceed on the highway in direction to Drvar. In Kolunić village turn right on the paved road across the village. At the end of the village the paved road turns into the carriageway along the forest. The carriageway is labeled with red/white hiking labels. The gradually ascent leads  to the west. On the first crossroad turn right than on the second crossroad one turn sharp left and proceed to the south east course. Keep right near the quarry and few hundred meters later near the ruined hut turn right. After 0.5 km there is a labeled junction with the hiking trail. I left the bike in the forest and hiked to Velika Osječenica peak. The hiking trail is labeled. Just before the peak there is a labeled junction. You can use long & easy (left) or short & difficulty (right) section to the peak. From Velika Osječenica I came back and proceeded to ride to the south. On the way to the last point there are five crossroads and I followed the directions: keep left, turn right, keep left, keep right & turn right. The last point is the crossroad with the highway Bosanski Petrovac – Drvar. Turn left and you can ride back across Oštrelj saddle to Kolunić village and Bosanski Petrovac.
