Overview of mountain biking route:
MTB route Tjentište – Donje Bare is situated on Zelengora mountain in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The region belongs to National Park Sutjeska. The MTB trail leads near the historic region where the battle named Battle of the Sutjeska (in Croatian language Bitka na Sutjesci) was taken in May/June 1943 during WWII. The numerous monuments are situated near the trail. The landscape of Sutjeska river, Zelengora, Volujak and Maglić mountains is very nice too. The route is fast and easy, mostly placed on a good carriageway. The end point of the route is Donje Bare lake and region. Most of the junctions are not labeled. The route can be combined with Maglić, Mratinje – Tjentište (Maglić) and Tjentište – Zelengora routes.
Getting there: Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, Foča, Tjentište or coming from Croatia follow the direction Dubrovnik, Trebinje, Bileća, Gacko, Čemerno, Tjentište.

The route is recommended during summer, late spring and fall. During summer time count to pay the fee to visit National Park Sutjeska. There are springs of drinking water at the fountain near the resting place and near Donje Bare Lake. GPS unit with uploaded route is a must.
