The starting point of the route is in Rateče village. In the village follow the labels to Tromeja. At the end of the village keep right and the paved road turns into unpaved road.  The gradually ascent  leads to the crossroad to Tromeja hut. Turn right to the hut or keep left and proceed to Peč peak. Tromeja hut is opened during weekend time. From the trail you can get a nice view to Julian Alps. At the next crossroad keep left to Peč peak or keep right to Potkoren village. In few turns the trail leads to Peč peak. There is a trig point between Austria, Italy and Slovenia named Tromeja. From the north side of the peak there is skiing center situated in Austria. From Tromeja ride back to the last crossroad and than turn sharp left to Potkoren village. After long section the unpaved road ends with the T crossroad. Turn right on the highway to Potkoren village. Descend to Potkoren. In the village at the main crossroad turn right and than turn left to reach the bike trail between  Kranjska Gora and Rateče. Proceed to Rateče and ride on the bike trail.
