Gorščica – Lipa mountain bike trail is situated in the east area of Medvednica mountain near Zagreb city. Most of the sections are placed along the beech forest. Gorščica Hut is situated on Medvednica ridge. The starting point of the route is Vidovec. As the option you can ride on the unpaved road named Gorščica coming from Bidrovec. Bidrovec is the district of Zagreb situated near Vidovec. Both options are included on the interactive map and in above GPS tracklog. The first section is the ride on the unpaved road. From Gorščica Hut to Lipa Hut follows the ride on the singletrack section. From Lipa Hut proceed on a steep singletrack which turns into the carriageway.  The route can be combined with The ridge of Medvednica route. The end point of the route is in Čučerje.

The starting point of the mountain bike route is the last bus station in Vidovec. Proceed straight and on the first crossroad near the church keep left on the paved road. The paved road turns into carriageway. There is a spring of drinking water near the carriageway. Proceed on the main carriageway along the Vidovec stream and after about 4km on the crossroad keep right. The next cross is with the unpaved road named Gorščica coming from Bidrovec along Bidrovec stream. Coming from Vidovec turn right and proceed for Gorščica Hut. On the next crossroad turn left and Gorščica Hut is about 200 meters far from the cross. To proceed to Lipa Hut, ride back to  the last crossroad than turn left and follow the red/white labels for Lipa Hut. The first section is placed on unpaved road. At the junction keep right on the carriageway and follow the labels. During rainy days the section is very muddy. On the labeled junction turn right for Lipa Hut. Proceed on the singletrack  to the Lipa Hut. From Lipa Hut ride back to Gorščica Hut and on the second junction turn left on the carriageway. Proceed straight and follow the labels for Čučerje. On the next junction turn right on the unpaved road. The ascent follows to the next crossroad. Turn right and the unpaved road turns into the paved road.
