Overview of mountain biking route:
Brestov Draga – Maševo trail is situated in the north west Croatia in the area named Gorski Kotar. Brestova Draga and Maševo are villages. In this well known forest’s area there are many unpaved roads. Most of them have been used during centuries for transportation with horses. The ruins of Romanian bridge named Fajeri are placed near the trail. All ascents and descents are smooth. Most of the sections are on unpaved roads.

Description of MTB route:
The starting point of the mountain bike route is Brestova Draga village. If you come from Sunger to Brestova Draga than turn left on the main crossroad in Brestova Draga village and keep south course on unpaved road. The trail proceeds above Rudine valley through the forest. There aremany junctions from Brestova Draga to Maševo. I suggest you to use GPS tracklog for this route. When you reach the ruins of the hut named Parčeva Baraka proceed 400 meters than turn right, proceed 800 meters and than turn left on hard visible trail through the forest. Hike on for about 700 meters and you will reach the unpaved road to Maševo. Turn left on the road and proceed to Maševo village. On the crossroad in the village turn left and proceed to the crossroad with the paved road. Turn right on the paved road and proceed for about 2.9 km to the crossroad and turn right for Vrata village. It takes around 20.5 km to Vrata village. There is Lipovača hut on the section to Vrata. Just before Vrata village pass the railway and turn right on the crossroad in the village. Proceed to Belo Selo and than to Slavica village. In Slavica village proceed straight on all crossroads. At the end of the village the paved road turns into unpaved road. On the section to Brestova Draga there are ruins of Romanian bridge named Fajeri. After about 4.6 km you will reach Brestova Draga.
