Vrbnik – Baška MTB route is situated in the south east area of The Island of Krk. This is the point to point route with 2 hiking sections. Most of the trail is placed on the dry and rocky carriageway. On the trail there are many gates for the cattle. The trail passes near the area named Mjesec. This is the homeland of rare Griffon Vulture birds. As the option I included the trail to Diviška sightseeing point with the opened view to Sinjsko Bilo and North Velebit mountain. The route can be combined with Punat – Vrbnik route.

The starting point is Vrbnik. Vrbnik is situated on the east coast of The Island of Krk. Coming from the parking place in Vrbnik proceed to the west on the paved road to Punat. Turn left on the crossroad. Proceed on the carriageway and after about 700 meters turn left on the unpaved road. At the next crossroad turn right on the steep and rocky carriageway. Due to steep ascent on some short section hike with the bike. Follow the directions on the elevation profile until you reach the crossroad. Turn left to Diviška sightseeing point. The carriageway ends after about  3.1 km.  Turn left, leave the bike and proceed on the labeled hiking path to Diviška. The path is labeled with red/white labeles. From Diviška ride back to the last crossroad and proceed to Baška. Follow the directions and distances labeled on the elevation profile. The trail passes near the Hlam hill and the area named Mjesec. Be carefull not to miss the labeled junction to Baška. Turn right and hike to Baška. Follow red/white hiking labels. Due to steep descent and rocky path the ride is not possible. The trail ends near Sveti Ivan church. 2 km from Baška there is Sveta Lucija church. The church is situated in Jurandvor village. There is Baška tablet (Croatian: Bašćanska ploča) in the church.
