Overview of mountain biking route:

The mountain bike route Trsteno – Orašac – Majkovi is situated near Dubrovnik town in southern Croatia. The route is fast and easy, mostly placed on the paved road. The last section from Majkovi to Trsteno leads along the coast with the opened view to Elafiti Islands. Most of the junctions are labeled. Due to hot summer time the route is recommended during spring, fall or winter.

Description of MTB route:

The starting point of the route is Trsteno village. The well known Trsteno Arboretum is situated between the village and coast. From the center of the village proceed to Dubrovnik and at the end of the village there is the junction. Turn left on the carriageway. The junction is above the church at the end of the village. Proceed to the south east course along the coast to Orašac village. In Orašac village keep left on the paved road and climb above the village. Turn left on the paved road and proceed to the north course. Few hundred meters from Orašac at the junction keep left and follow the direction to Riđica, Mravinjac & Mrčevo. The gradually ascent leads along the villages: Prekopolje, Mrčevo, Mravinjac and Riđica. After the descent to Riđica, pass the village and than turn right to Majkovi region. From Majkovi the route can be extended to Slano. From Majkovi I returned to the last junction and rode straight on the long descent section back to Trsteno village.
