Sumartin trail is situated in the south east area of The Island of Brač. The trail is a circular route around fishermen’s village named Sumartin. Near the trail there are nice beaches. One of the highest elevation points of the trail there is a hill where is Sveti Nikola chapel with a nice view on south part of the Brač and Biokovo mountain too. The route can be combined with Povlja and Selca – Kaštil routes.  The trail is dry and rocky.

The starting point of the mountain bike route is Sumartin port. Follow the paved road along the coast in the direction to Selca. When the road leaves the bay, on the first crossroad turn right on the carriageway. This is the steep carriageway to the Sveti Nikola chapel. On the next crossroad proceed straight and on the third crossroad turn right. On all next crossroads to the chapel proceed straight. The trail leads to the peak of the hill where is the quarry and Sveti Nikola chapel. From Sveti Nikola chapel proceed by the carriageway to the north direction. On the first crossroad turn right and descend to the valley. A steep ascent leads to the saddle and than to the crossroad on the saddle near Novo Selo village. Do not turn on the paved road. Keep right on unpaved road to the north direction. The first section of the unpaved road is a steep descent. The trail leads to the valley. At the first crossroad turn right on the carriageway. On the next  junction proceed straight than after about 20 meters on the junction turn left and proceed to the Rasotica village. Rasotica bay is 100m from the village to the south east side. From Rasotica village the trail proceeds to the south on the dirt road. At the crossroad in Sumartin turn left and proceed on the trail along the coast.
