Strahinjščica route is situated in north Croatia in the area named Hrvatsko Zagorje. This is a circular trail around Strahinjščica mountain. There is a hut named Strahinjščica too. During weekends there are hikers on the trail too. After rainy days there is a lot of mud on the carriageway sections of the route. Most of the sections are very easy but keep attention on some rocky and muddy downhill sections in the 2nd half of the route.

The starting point of the mountain bike route is the crossroad in Podgora Krapinska village situated near the old highway from Krapina to Macelj. From the crossroad turn right. On the next crossroad turn right and proceed on the paved road for the next few kilometers. On the next labeled crossroad turn right on unpaved road towards the quarry. Just before the quarry turn sharp left and proceed across the quarry to the east course. After about 2 kilometers, on the next crossroad turn right for Strahinjščica Hut. The hut is opened during weekends. To continue the route ride back to the last crossroad and turn right on the carriageway. After about 300 meters turn right and proceed on the muddy carriageway section. Next 2 kilometers follows the steep ascent with few short downs until you reach the junction with the labeled carriageways. Proceed straight on the labeled carriageway. Follows the steep descent with some rocky and muddy sections. Be careful to follow the red/white labels. The carriageway ends in the village and it turns into a paved road. After about 50 meters turn right on the carriageway again. Proceed straight and climb until you reach the crossroad near crucifix. Turn right and proceed straight to Strahinje village and than to Podgora Krapinska village. In the Podgora Krapinska village right and proceed straight few hundred meters and you will be back at the starting point.
