The starting point of the route is in Šentjernej town. From the center proceed to the west and turn left on the next crossroad. After about 1.80km turn left on the unpaved road to the south course. Just before the next village the unpaved road turns into the paved road. Turn right on the crossroad and proceed to Cerov Log. In Cerov Log  turn left and after few hundred meters turn right and than keep left on the paved road that leads to quarry. Just before the quarry turn right and proceed on the unpaved road to Trdinov Vrh (Sveta Gera). All further crossroads to the peak were labeled.  As the options I add the trails to Miklavž and Gospodična huts into the GPS tracklog and elevation profile.  The trails are labeled too. From Trdinov Vrh ride back to Miklavž. At the crossroad keep the direction to Javorovica. The unpaved road proceeds to the east course along the ridge of Žumberak mountain. Keep straight on all crossroads. The unpaved road turns into the carriageway. Follow the long section with few very steep ups and downs. The hiking is needed on some short sections. After few kilometers the final downhill section starts near the meadow with the hunters sight point. Keep left on the next junctions and the carriageway turns into the steep singletrack. Keep left on the next junction and proceed on the carriageway that leads to the crossroad with the unpaved road. Turn left and descend to the crossroad with the paved road. Turn right and proceed to Pleterje. Keep right on the next crossroad and the next section is labeled to Pleterje. From Pleterje ride back and follow the signs to Šmarje and than to Šentjernej. For more details check above interactive Map and below Gallery & Notes of the route.
