Libinje trail is situated on Southern Velebit mountain. The target is the plateau divided on 2 parts named Malo and Veliko Libinje. The plateau is well know as the grazing land. The route is circular.  Modrić village at the Adriatic coast is the starting point of the route. The main part of the trail is unpaved road and carriageway. The trail is dry and rocky. The route starts from the see level to the elevation at 1000m over the see level. Than proceeds the section along the ridge near Libinje plateau. The route can be combined with Prosenjak – Mali Halan route.

In the bay just before Modrić village there is the crossroad and this is the starting point of the route. From the main highway Maslenica – Starigrad turn right on the paved road. The trail leads above Modrić village and than follows a steep ascent on the carriageway to the plateau of Glavica village. On the first crossroad keep left and on the next crossroad turn left again. From this crossroad the carriageway leads to the plateau. The gradually ascent leads to the elevation at 900m over the see level. On the next crossroad turning left to visit Malo Libinje plateau. The right direction leads above Veliko Libinje plateau. Just follow the last one, cross straight the next 2 junctions, and on the 3rd junction turn right to Bukva village. Follow the carriageway across the village and keep the ride on the saddle. From the saddle starts a steep descent. Pass the tunnel below  Zagreb – Split highway. On the next crossroad turn left on the paved road. Few hundred meters after the next tunnel there is a plateau with a crossroad. Leave the paved road and turn to the right on the unpaved road.
