Overview of mountain biking route:
MTB route Grmeč (Crni Vrh) is situated in the west region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Grmeč mountain has a long ridge and the highest elevation point is Crni Vrh summit at height of 1605 meters over the sea level. The route is easy and placed mostly on dry unpaved and carriageway roads. The final ascent from Pećinica pool to Crni Vrh is for hiking only. I used GPS navigation because there was no labeled path to Crni Vrh. It takes about 45-60 minutes of hiking to Crni Vrh. Near the descent section from Crni Vrh to Smoljana village there is a spring of water named Potoci. Due to unlabeled hiking trail to Crni Vrh and many unlabeled junctions a GPS unit with the uploaded route is a must for fast and safe navigation.
Getting there: Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, Travnik, Donji Vakuf, Jajce, Ključ – Bosanski Petrovac highway, Stankovići village or coming from Croatia consider the direction Zagreb, Karlovac, Slunj, Izačići, Bihać, Bosanski Petrovac – Ključ highway, Stankovići village. The label for Stankovići village was missing.
