Overview of mountain biking route:
Gornja Trnava is the suburb in the north east area of Zagreb. From Gornja Trnava starts the trail to Hunjka Hut. The hut is located on the ridge of Medvednica mountain. Starting from east area of Zagreb city this is a good access point to Medvednica mountain. Almost all sections of the trail passes through the forest with easy and long gradually climb. During and after rainy days the trail is muddy. The route can be combined with Markuševački Makadam, Markuševac – Trnava and The ridge of Medvednica routes.

Description of MTB route:
The starting point of the mountain bike route is the street Toti in Gornja Trnava. Follow the street to the west course. The paved road ends near the hunters hut and turns into unpaved road to Medvednica mountain. Unpaved road leads near the water gate of Trnava stream. The unpaved road leads along Trnava stream canyon. After around 2.2 km there is the water station on the right side of the trail. Turn left and proceed on unpaved road. On the next crossroad turn right and on second crossroad turn left. Proceed straight and after about 2.3 km join the trail Markuševački Makadam. Turn sharp right on Markuševački Makadam and proceed on unpaved road. After about 2 km follows the section with the gradually descent 1km long. Then follow the ascent 1km long ending with the crossroad. Turn left and proceed to Hunjka Hut. There is the resting place on the left side of the road and near the Hunjka Hut.
