Overview of mountain biking route:
Borašnica MTB route is situated on the north east side of Prenj mountain area. Borašnica peak is well known sightseeing point. The military radio relay station was situated on the peak before the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The station is destroyed. Some areas out of the road and near to the peak are the hazardous area due to the possible mine fields. It is not recommended to ride off the road. The trail is dry and rocky. The route can be combined with Zelena Glava (Prenj) MTB route.
Getting there: Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Konjic town, Borci village.

Description of MTB route:
The starting point of MTB route is the crossroad in Borci village. Following the direction Konjic – Boračko Jezero (Borci lake), turn right in Borci village to Rujišta. After 1.5 km there is the second crossroad. Keep right on the mixed paved/unpaved road. After about 200 meters the road turns into unpaved road. The first section passes along the forest near Kleke area. On the next crossroad keep straight and proceed on the carriageway. The steep ascent on the rocky carriageway starts near Poljana area. The carriageway ends near the destroyed military station about 30 meters below Borašnica peak. I left the bike and carefully climbed towards the peak. Borašnica peak is at elevation of 1886 meters over the sea level. For more details check above Interactive Map and below Notes & Gallery of the route. I rode back on the same trail.
