Leustek trail is situated on the south side of Medvednica mountain. Leustek trail is very popular singletrack and it is used as an access trail from Gračani district  to Medvednica ridge. During weekends there are many hikers on the trail too. Do not ride downhill on this trail. Only uphill is recommended during the week days except Saturday and Sunday. After rainy days there is a lot of mud on the trail. In the upper part there is a section with some rocks on the trail and some XC technical skill is needed. The route can be combined with The ridge of Medvednica route.

To reach the starting point proceed through the tunnel in the suburb of Zagreb named Gračani . The starting point of the mountain bike route is near cable car’s line station for Medvednica mountain. Near parking place there is a paved road to the south course. Follow the road for around 400m and on the first turning point on the right side there are ruins of the house. Near the house there is the starting point of the Leustek trail. The trail is labeled with red/white labels and the first section looks as the carriageway. The first section is gradually climb and then follows the short descent section. Around 1,2 km from the starting point the trail turns into singletrack. Follow the signs for Runolist Hut. The resting place named Adolfovac is situated at the end of first half of the trail. From Adolfovac ride left through the labeled singletrack. The next point is the intersection with the paved road to Medvednica ridge. Cross the road and continue to ride on the labeled singletrack. After 700m on the right side there is the resting place and the spring of water. On the next junction the unpaved road on the right side proceeds to Runolist Hut. Leustek trail continues as the singletrack, so proceed to ride on the labeled singletrack. On this section there are some rocks on the trail. The spring of the water is on the left side of the trail.
