Ivanščica Classic is a semi loop trail from Ivanec city to the peak of Ivanščica. Ivanščica is the mountain situated in the north area of Croatia. The peak is at elevation of 1060m over the see level. At the peak there is hut and radio relay station. The ascent section is mostly an unpaved road through the forest. The climbing is long and easy. The descent section is mostly a steep carriageway. During and after rainy days the trail is muddy. The route can be combined with Zlatar – Ivanščica route.

The mountain bike route starts in the center of  Ivanec near the church. At the main crossroad in the city follow the label to Ivanščica. First few kilometers is the paved road. The trail passes near the water mill. At the next crossroad in the village Prigorec turn right and the road turns into the unpaved road. Proceed straight on the labeled road until the peak at 1060m over the see level. On the peak there is Josip Pasarić hut offering drinks during weekends. For downhill I choose steep forest’s carriageway. From the hut proceed to the south east course near the sightseeing point. There is a labeled carriageway with a steep descent. The trail joins the village Prigorec and from the crossroad in the village I rode on the same trail back to the starting point in the  Ivanec city.
