This is the map of Mljet Island (final beta). Click The Map of Island of Mljet to see complete map in your browser. I made the map during my exploring of the island of Mljet. Do not publish the map! The map is copyrighted and can be used for personal use only.		Ovdje je prikazana karta otoka Mljeta. Klikni na Kartu Mljeta i karta će biti prikazana u vašem pregledniku. Kartu sam napravio za vrijeme obilaska otoka Mljeta. Autorska prava na kartu su pridržana i svako publiciranje karte bez dozvole autora je zabranjeno. Kartu možete koristiti za osobnu upotrebu.
To view the map in Google Earth download map at below link: The map of Mljet Island (final beta) (right click and use save link as or save target as command) Instructions: unzip the downloaded file, open and view kmz map in Google Earth. The map is 100% compatible with Garmin kmz file format. If you have a new Garmin GPS (eTrex 20&30, Oregon, Dakota, Colorado, 62 etc) than you can upload/install kmz map in Garmin custom map folder and use the map in your GPS unit. Za pregled karte u Google Earth programu preuzmi datoteku sa linka: Karta otoka Mljeta (final beta) (desni klik i pokreni "save link as" or "save target as" naredbu) Instrukcije: napravi unzip (dekompresiju) preuzete datoteke i otvori datoteku u Google Earth programu. Karta je 100% kompatibilna sa Garmin kmz formatom. Ako imate noviji Garmin GPS (npr neki od modela kao eTrex 20&30, Oregon, Dakota, Colorado, 62) tada datoteku možete instalirati u "Garmin custom map" direktorij i upotrebljavati kartu na vašem uređaju. After opening the map in Google Earth zoom in/out the map. Add your placemarks and paths and create your route. Export the placemarks and paths (File - Save) in kml. Convert kml into gpx and install the route in your GPS unit.

I hope the new versions with more features will be available soon.

Hvala. Pripazi oko mljetskih jezera neposredno uz samu obalu ima staza po kojoj se većim dijelom može voziti. Ucrtana je u kartu paralelno sa asfaltom/makadamom ali se zbog blizine teško prepoznaje, a i na terenu zbog guste šume teško se primjeti da je cca 5 metara od ceste staza.

This is final beta version. The update includes:

1. Few more paths (thanks to Igor D.),
2. Better image quality in GE,
3. Images of sight points are included,
4. Contour labels are included,
5. Few design changes..........

The map is designed in vector format and can be produced in final layout in any size.

The map includes the new built carriageways (2009 & 2010) and some of them can not be seen on GE satellite images, like this one on the south coast:

Of course all hiking paths have not been explored but I guess the most important MTB trails are included.
