MTB mountain bike routes in Croatia and neighborhood

The starting point of the mountain bike route is in Ogulin town. From the center of the town proceed on the labeled trail to Sabljaci Lake and village. The paved road leads to the lake. Keep the ride along the west coast of Sabljaci Lake. The section along the coast ends near the spring of river Mrežnica and water station. I rode the circle near the Bistrac stream and returned back to the water station. From the station I rode back

The unpaved section

1 km and then turned left and ascend to Bertovići village. The paved road turns into the rocky unpaved road. The ascent leads to the north side of Kapela mountain. After a long ascent the unpaved road leads along the forest to the west and then to the northwest course. The unpaved road turns into the paved road and the descent ends in Bjelsko village. From Bjelsko proceed on the paved road to Potok Musulinski village. In the center of the village there is the fountain. Keep the ride along the village to the west course. At the end of the village keep left and proceed on the unpaved road to the northwest course. The long unpaved section ends near the hunters hut. From the hut ascend on the steep carriageway. Due to steep ascent some hiking is needed. The carriageway crosses with the labeled hiking trail and than with the unpaved road. Turn right and proceed on the unpaved road to the next hunters hut. Near the hut turn right and proceed on the carriageway to Vitunjčica river. After few hundred meters the steep descent leads to Vitunj village and then to the spring of Vitunjčica river. Due to the steep descent and rocky trail some hiking is needed until you reach Vitunj village. On the northwest side of the village there is the spring of Vitunjčica river. From Vitunj village keep the ride on the paved road to Ogulin town. The paved road leads near Vitunjčica and Dobra rivers straight back to Ogulin town.
