| The river Lika |
The mountain bike route The lake Krušičko Jezero is placed in Lika region in south Croatia near the Velebit mountain. The route is situated around the lake Krušičko Jezero. Krušičko Jezero is formed by Lika river. There is an electric power station too. All the sections are placed on the paved road and the carriageway. The carriageways are dry and rocky. The route is fast and easy. For fast and easy navigation GPS unit with uploaded route is recommended.

| The east carriageway section |
The starting point of the route is the square in Perušić. From Perušić proceed on the paved road to Pazarište direction. 1km far from Perušić, few hundred meters on the left side there is the tower Turska Kula and the church. At the next junction you can turn left and visit Samograd and Medina caves. Proceed along the paved road to Lika river and the bridge over Lika river. Just before the bridge turn right to Kaluđerovac village. Turn left in the village leads to Lika river. Turn right and than after about 300 meters turn left and the trail proceeds along the east side of the lake. The rocky carriageway partly overgrown in the grass ascends to the hill. Keep left and than keep right at the next junctions. The carriageway ends at the top of the hill near the wide junction. Turn right and proceed to descend on the wide carriageway. Pass the ramp, turn left and descend to the junction with the paved road. Turn left leads to the lake and turn right leads along the village. Pass near the monument and church and after about 1.4km turn left at the junction. Proceed on the
carriageway and turn left in front of the next house. The carriageway leads to the bridge over Lika river. Pass the bridge and turn left in Gornji Kosinj village. Proceed on the paved road and turn right to Podjelar village. The paved road passes near the spring of the water. 630 meters from the spring of the water turn left and ascends on the rocky carriageway. After the long climb the carriageway starts to descend. Keep right at the next junction. In few turns you will reach the nice sightseeing point above the coast of the lake. Keep straight at the carriageway to Vaganac village. In the village the carriageway turns into the paved road. Turn left at the next crossroad and proceed to ride on the paved road that leads back to Perušić.
