The starting point of the mountain bike route is the parking place near Hotel Velebno in Baške Oštarije village. From the hotel ride on the highway in direction to Karlobag and after few hundred meters turn right for Stupačinovo village. Proceed on paved road through the beech forest for about 1km. Turn left on the crossroad and follow red/white hiking labels for Ravni Dabar Hut. The carriageway gradually turns into rocky singletrack named Premužićeva Staza. This section is very rocky and exceeds XC limits. If you want to avoid Premužićeva Staza trail and reach Dabarska Kosa by car, consider the Getting there details in Šatorina route. The section ends with the crossroad on Dabarska Kosa. From Dabarska Kosa you can get a nice view on the Adriatic see and Ravni Dabar valley and Ravni Dabar Hut.  Turn right on labeled singletrack for Ravni Dabar valley. The steep and rocky downhill section ends with the junction. Turn right on the carriagway to the Ravni Dabar Hut. If you want to avoid rocky downhill section you can ride from Dabarska Kosa on unpaved road to the north and turn right on the first cross and proceed on the carriageway to Ravni Dabar valley. The carrigeway ends near Ravni Dabar Hut where is the resting place and water tank. From the hut ride back on the same carriageway. Do not turn left on the singletrack, just proceed straight on the carriageway. On the next cross turn right and proceed on unpaved road between cliffs. Pass the tunnel and proceed straight until you reach the crossroad for Jadovno and Kugina Kuća. Turn left for Kugina Kuća. After few hundred meters there is a place named Bijele Stijene. From this area there is a opened view on all cliffs in the Middle Velebit area. Proceed straight on unpaved road and on the next crossroad keep right until you reach Kugina Kuća (Kuga’s Hut) on the right side of the road. There is a water tank near the hut. From the hut ride back to the last mentioned cross and turn right. First a steep ascent than steadily descent follow near the area named Skorpovac. Keep straight on the next crossroads until you reach the crossroad with opened view on Adriatic coast at right side. Turn sharp left and steadily ascent leads back to Dabarska Kosa. From Dabarska Kosa ride back on Premužićeva Staza singletrack to Baške Oštarije. For more details check above interactive map and below photo gallery.
